Meet the Committee
Model Parliament would not be possible without its Planning Committee Members who put in countless hours of work. Their dedication and passion for the event drive them to provide participants with this unique and inspirational event year after year. Participants are invited to reach out to the Model Parliament Planning Committee for any questions or advice through the email info@uottawampsp.com. The Committee Members will always be available to help to make participants' experiences as enjoyable as possible.
Ryan Chang
Director of MPSP & Governor General of Canada
Ryan Chang (he/him) leads the committee as Governor General of Canada for MPSP 2025. He is a fifth-year student in Political Science with a minor in Asian Studies, and his favourite book is Yertle the Turtle.
He is the current MP for Mississauga East–Cooksville.

Roméo Ntwari (he/him) is the Speaker of the House of Commons for MPSP 2025! He is a fourth-year student in the Honours in Political Science and Juris Doctor program, and he does not have a favourite book :(
