+ What is Model Parliament?
Model Parliament is an annual event that provides students with an engaging and educational experience, which inspires an appreciation and respect for the parliamentary process. Through the process of simulating the actual debate and legislative procedure that our parliamentarians follow, our participants can have an up-close understanding of how the process functions.

+ Is MPSP limited to students in the Faculty of Social Science or students studying Political Science?
No! All undergraduate and graduate students at uOttawa are welcome to participate, regardless of their program of study.
+ Can I participate even if I don’t know anything about politics?
Yes! MPSP’s philosophy is fake politics, real procedure. All parties and policies brought up during MPSP will be fictional. Participants will also undergo training sessions to learn more about the parliamentary procedure.
+ Is MPSP just the two days in January?
No! MPSP consists of events starting from October to the two sitting days in January.
