Why Be A Speaker?

Every year, the University of Ottawa Model Parliament welcomes a vast range of political personalities from here. Members of Parliament, senators, journalists, political staff or personalities from the private sector, all contribute to the success of the event.

Our speakers share their unique opinions, experiences and knowledge with an audience of over 300 young students deeply interested in Canadian politics. The guest speaker's segment always gets a lot of attention from our attendees, forming the highlight of the event for many.
